Welcome to Prima Choral Artists
Prima Choral Artists is a vibrant, progressive choir based in the beautiful, historic city of York, UK.
Since launching in 2010, we’ve offered new & experienced singers the chance to take part in a wide range of choral projects - from powerful large-scale performances to more intimate ensemble work.
Our members come from diverse backgrounds but are united by a shared passion for high-quality music-making, collaboration and personal growth. While we don’t hold formal auditions, we welcome singers with musical experience, good musicianship and the enthusiasm to embrace eclectic repertoires and learn in a fast-moving yet warm and supportive setting.
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings in South Bank. Whether you’re coming back to singing or seeking your next artistic challenge, Prima is a place to develop your skills, connect with others and perform music to a high standard.
